NotchRec is a native, fully offline macOS screen recording application. We collect no personal data. There is no account system, no analytics, no telemetry, and no usage tracking.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect, upload, or transmit your screen content. Recordings stay on your Mac.
• We do not access your camera or microphone without your explicit permission.
• We do not collect analytics, telemetry, or usage data.
• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies on our website.
• We do not operate any license, activation, or payment servers.

3. Data Storage

Screen recordings are saved directly to your local storage at the location you choose. Your settings are stored locally on your device. Nothing is ever sent to a remote server by the app.

4. Open Source

NotchRec is open source under the MIT License. The complete source code is available on GitHub, so the privacy behavior described above is verifiable by anyone.

5. Your Rights

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our side. All data produced by the app lives on your own device.
